Federal University of Juiz de Fora - Universidade Federal de Juiz de ForaThe Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) is a Brazilian education institution located in Minas Gerais State –Juiz de Fora. The UFJF was established in 1960 by an act of the President Juscelino Kubitschek in order to become an academic and cultural center in the region. Medicine, Engineering, Economics, Law, Pharmacy, and Dentistry were the first courses. Then Geography, Literature, Philosophy, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, and History were linked to the campus. Nowadays, UFJF has 93 undergraduate courses, 36 masters, and 17 doctoral degrees, in all areas of knowledge. The UFJF has more than 20,000 students.
